I have ordered three of the orange polka dot pumpkins for my nieces... they look awesome! If any of you want the polka dots get a move on! I haven't posted for a while due to the absence of my computer.. but I'm back now...

Just Another Manic Monday

You're probably sitting there, wondering why I posted random pictures of clothes hanging. Well here is the deal. Today was quite a day! I wonder if it is a full moon tonight...maybe... ANYWAY....
So look back to our first posting about receiving and Petit Frere... Look at the pictures. Remember the boxes? Remember the piles of clothes? Well. Today order has once more begun to descend on The Lili Pad. John (who, incidentally, built our website and is basically awesome and also happens to be Susan's husband) put up some shelves that double as hanging racks!! Thank you John!!! Susan, Katherine, and Kim all worked very hard at getting everything hung on said racks... way to go guys!!

We love the fall at the Lili Pad... we probably love it so much because of the adorable stuff that we have gotten in! Whether it's Halloween or Thanksgiving, it is all so cute! Here is a peek at just a few...

These are great if you need to match a boy and girl. Also, the applique on these is actually on a button-on bib that reverses or just comes off to leave with you with a great basic piece.

Petit Frere

Ok, so let's really talk about Petit Frere. I know lots of ya'll are already familiar with this line, but for those of you who are not I have posted a few pics to give you an idea of what we're talking about here. The shirts are all so cute with a variety of appliques. To name a few: a christmas monkey, a birthday dog, a cowboy hat, a pumpkin, a cow, and the list goes on and on. Also, we have received corduroy pants in several different colors!

There are some precious girl shirts as well. Here are a couple of the Petit Soeur shirts. Petit Soeur is the girl's line from Petit Frere. It's been a while since I took french, but I'm fairly sure that Petit Frere and Petit Soeur mean "little brother" and "little sister". I should look that up sometime. Anyway, these are precious... especially the megaphones! It comes in orange too, I just couldn't find one at the time to snap a picture. I'll get that up later this week.



Onto a few of the boys. This scarecrow is my favorite of the whole bunch... I think he's adorable! Also, now that I 'm looking at a picture of it I'm seeing how many options you have as far as pants go. You could do green, red, or brown solids, or a cute color in gingham.

Whew! What an afternoon!






























So as I said earlier, we are in the midst of receiving. Receiving is a special time, for a 2-3 month period our UPS man brings us stacks and stacks and STACKS of boxes. I think the record this season so far is 36... on just one day! Anyway, so we've been waiting and waiting for a super cute line called Petit Frere to come. Well... today it came. Behold! Everyone worked very hard today and as of about 4:00 pm Petit Frere officially hit the floor!

I thought I'd post a few pictures of the store for those of you who might not have been to visit yet.

The Beginning

Today was quite a day at Lili Pad! Amid the craziness of receiving (more on that later), Cydney, one of our customers, struck up a conversation with Katherine and I about blogs. By the way, check out Cydney's blog.. sweetcarolinesboutique.blogspot.com. Very cute!

Anyway, Katherine and I (Abby) started talking about it and decided that a blog would be a great way to keep in touch with all of our customers. I am going to try to update at least every couple of days with pictures, stories, and anything else we think ya'll might find interesting!
